30th Alternative Hair Show

The 2012, 30th Alternative Hair Show. Huge success for the newly formed Charitable Trust and founder Tony Rizzo pictured right with Glenn Gregory Director at Salon Media. The theme for the show was Legends which showcased the work of International stars of Hairdressing with fantastic catwalk shows.

The annual show which is held at the Royal Albert Hall featured work by; Trevor Sorbie, TIGI, Gogen, Sanrizz, Alexander McQueen and more.. The highlight of the Legends show was the special heartfelt tribute to Vidal Sassoon. A mixture of Vidal’s iconic hair designs and photos capturing special moments throughout his career were presented in a way which wowed the audience. The audience were also thrilled to see Vidal’s Immediate family members come out on stage to salute and thank them for their support and well wishes. A truly memorable event that raised nearly £200,000 on the night for Alternative Hair Show Charity.

Salon Media supported the shows fundraising efforts providing the latest sleek and stylish digital displays promoting the Vidal Sassoon movie and the event at Salon International 2012.
